The new design of the contests is finally live. Took WAY longer than expected because it's the most complex part of the site and is constructed dynamically from gazillions of little pieces using gazillion conditions. It actually took 10x time to fix the bugs there than redesign it.

If you notice any bugs there, by all means post here, or email me directly adminsfreakingnews.com

So in order to see the scores for each chop, Now you have to click on say winners name, go to his stats page, then click on contest picture and then it shows the scoring? It's use to be with the comments? Right?

I have highlighted the location of the entry scores for you in the new design, click the thumbnails to see the screenshots:

Contest Page:

Entry Page:

As usual, entry scores are hidden until a contest finishes.

There was a problem with a contest page cache update after the contest end today, perhaps your question was related to this issue (it's all fixed now). If so, take a look again at the contest page.

I hope you are going to fix the comment boxes so they work? The only way I have found to leave a comment is to click on an image to open that image's comments. Then when you leave a comment you can click the button twice to have it accepted. On the full pages there is no button to click except at the bottom of the page, and I tried adding a comment on an image and then hitting the button at the bottom of the page. It did not accept the comment.

Maybe I am just too dense and can't see the simple way to comment?

I tried posting in the manner you described above Bob.
My comments were recorded and so was yours from what I can tell..It's just that the front contest page lags behind on updating your post or anyone's comment..
If you click on the 'full size' link, likely you will see your comment. That page updates real time, way ahead of the contest page.

SplatShot is right - the contest pages only update once every 5 minutes, OR after anyone submits a new entry, so while your comments are accepted they are not instantly visible on the contest page until the next cache reset (within 5 minutes).
In the finished contests the comments may take longer to appear, but they are recorded and will appear upon the next cache reset.
I saw your comments left on the winners entries in the last contest so they posted fine.
As per clicking twice - this problem may only appear aporadically on the entry pages, due to the comment box resize feature. Sometimes if you click on it too fast after writing a comment, it will take its time to resize the box and win't accept your click.
In this case you will see the comment still staying in the box and the page is not refreshing - then click again and it should process the comment fine - you will see the page refreshed with your comment posted.
However please don't confuse this case with the case when the site is accepting your comment but is just doing it slowly (you will see your browser showing you that the site is "processing your request").
