Coincidence?

I went to the Big Foot museum in Willow Creek, CA today. Return home, check online ... new contest: Big Foot.

Now, if only I'd taken more pictures while I was there, LOL

LOL, must be the vibes you've been unconsciously sending from the Big Foot museum that made us write this contest

Hah funny, I hear the Twilight Zone jingle. I just don't like anything Andy Warthole, but I do like Bigfoot so I threw all my efforts into that contest. Come to think of it, we're living in bigfoot country now. When I lived in Florida, we called them Skunk-ape. A guy came into the airboat shop one early morning claiming he hit one on the way into town. Front of his truck was dented up an there was a massive muddy hand print on the hood clearly twice the size of mine and I have pretty big hands. Some great white hunter from Oregon came down and found tracks right where the old fellow said he'd collided an the hunter tracked it way back into the swamp until they started getting misshapen. It was then that her theorized that the animal was smart enough to back track in his own foot fall. Anyway, they got some excellent castings, some hair samples but never found the creature.

They had a bunch of castings of foot prints they'd found and maps to show where they'd found them. They were playing an old VHS taped show that talked about where the sitings had been and why scientifically it had to be something other than a large ape or a man (the ridges on the feet go around the foot, rather than ape-like diagonally or human like of side-to-side) but the program was old. However, they had a newspaper article under glass that told that National Geographic was up there in 2004 doing a documentary on the creatures.

My nephew was most taken with the Lego Yeti kit on display behind glass. He wanted us to buy it, which of course, we could not. I need to find one via ebay or something, I guess. There were board games and Harry and the Henderson dolls and cookie cutters and paintings ... lots of stuff. Oh, and T-shirts for sale, $18. No, I didn't buy one!

Didn't buy a T-Shirt???? I get it, one can't wear it in public or be branded one of those "ding dongs" huh? LOL

I regret not buying an area 51 shirt that said, "Abduct me please! I want to explore Uranus." Might not be funny to some but it just about dropped me LOL

I live near enough to Big Foot country that it would be odd.
