Monitor setting

My husband said my monitor is too dark as some work I sent over came out dark on his monitor. I have adjusted my screen now.
Please would anyone who sees this take a minute to check my images to see if they are too dark or too light please?
My husband's monitor is even darker.
The weird thing is images print out normally from his computer. They do print darker from mine.
Thank you very much. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Chris ...

I checked many of your entries, and they look fine to me.

Adjustment for optimal light levels would where you can see the most black and white squares. Seeing all of them is the ideal.

Note: budget monitors might not be able to distinguished between some of the darkest or lightest squares.

The dark is OK but the light is too bright.
