Usually when you go through final results there are some that you might think are out of place. With the big contests, I often feel gremlins were voting, because the results rarely make any sense. And when you see one submitter putting in 20 and all 10 of them falling out one after another, the whole thing is puzzling.

Nevertheless, it's all just a game. With nearly 50 entries, voting at all is a positive mark.

Boy, some great entries and some real crap hahahaha. I didn't even think of focusing on "Ha hah" content until too late.
I hit my chop with all the tricks and buried the traces well. Maybe it was glossed over because it looked fairly natural- you know, nothing special? And that's the point! So I thought.
Truth be known it took a looooooooong time to dial in every element to look like a part of the whole. So I am miffed but still enjoyed the game. Next time I need to remember to post the sources. That would tell the long story. Always a good idea to do that. Cheers

I agree Hits. The source image would have helped tremendously. I had to back-search most every significant image to tell how much work took place. I was on the look out for your chop and never could pin it down. I expected to see some retro aliens or a couple of freakshow oddities. But truly, you did have a great image and it would not have surprised me if it had taken the Gold. I've heard you say these type contest are a crap(s) shoot. The big ones are volatile and you never know how they'll turn out. Luck Helps Too!

Crap shoots indeed but within limits, naturally. Hahaha This was all my fault. I just submerged myself into making a technically flawless chop that it never occurred to me it should say something or have the "it" look to separate it from the massive pile on of following chops. Really, it is a victim of its own perfection. It blended into the flock too well. LOL Got to run, off to the doc... Laterz

This was very informative, Thank you folks. If you notice lately, I have been mixing up the styles and using various degrees of saturation. It seems to be keeping the chops a bit fresher and less predictable. I reckon that is a very good thing. Cheers, thanks for the input.

I like some channel Deletion Sometimes. This is Your's with Red and Blue Channel Deletion. The Green Channel become Magenta. After you trash the Red and Blue Channel convert to Gray Scale and Save. Each version Red, Green, and Blue Channels gives a unique look to Black and White. From Ansel Adams to Muddy Waters.
