Multiple entries

I have mentioned this before, why isn't there a limit on the number of entries, I counted 23 entries recently, and 12 in another. The record is 45. There may be contests with more entries but I haven't seen them.

It is all very well to say it doesn't matter, but it does to the other entrants who have worked very hard only to see their entries shoved down into a much lower place. It is also tedious trying to vote fairly.

The people who feel the need to show off in this way might be better occupied making a tutorial for lesser mortals who cannot produce so many entries in the allotted time. The quality is often very good in the case of multiple entries but I say it is not fair.

I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on a Trifecta or Quadfecta, so why not have a limit of 4 entries? I think more people would enter the heavily subscribed contests.
Especially the beard ones. I suspect many choppers have been put off entering those.

Do you think there should be a limit on entries?

45% 5 votes5 votes If yes, do you think 4 is a fair number?

I personally think a limit of four is very fair.
