yeah, the placing entries are usually outstanding, pro quality work.

Speaking of which, wish me luck. I'm beginning my bachelor's degree for graphic design on April 8th. Maybe I'll learn a little somethin'

Sorry Pegleg, I should have said so before. Good luck with your Graphic Design course. I hope you pass with distinction

Hi pegleg … I was wondering, if you are doing it online, and however you are doing it, about how long will it take? I have been offered a pretty cool teaching job, but although I have 30 years of on the job experience, I never got my degree. They are real sticklers for that degree, as I'm sure you know.

Yes, I am doing it online through Full Sail University. It is a three year school. Seems like a really good school. A lot of their alumni have won grammys, oscars, etc....

You would probably be fast tracked through the system. You might also find out some new and useful things.

I mean that because of your considerable experience you would be allowed to skip the early stages and go in at a higher level. Not sure how this works in America.

Being an online course, the hours are really up to you. The Enrollment Guide at the school say that the students who have the most success typically invest about 20 hrs a week. Now, I'm only in my first week, but I had all my activities completed by Tuesday afternoon. With your experience, you wouldn't have to worry about that.

As for getting through the degree sooner, I wish I had an answer for you. I would think they would "fast track" you as Christine said, or let you test out of certain areas, but I can't answer that. I will say it is a really good school. One former graduate worked on an album for Ringo Starr, which won some sort of award, and Ringo actually came to the campus to induct that student into the Full Sail Hall of Fame. A bunch of former graduates worked on the Lord of the Rings films which won a bunch of awards.

Here is a link to the school, give them a call.

Alternatively you could whizz through the early stages very quickly, and get your degree quickly.
