well I think I'm the one who suppose to answer this question
and yes it's the topaz filters :
topaz Clean - DeNoise - simplify - Details - Adjust and Sharpen, all are used in these two chops.
A LOT huh ?
but there is no certain options that I can list for you
and the most important thing is that they are not ( fully ) used on all the workspace.
I mean I use certain plugin for certain area:
Example:
- Topaz simplify just for for the background in( Tom story)
- Topaz Clean and DeNoise and Sharpen for ( Tom Story's Characters )
- Topaz Simplify only for ( Bashar assad's Uniform )
- Topaz clean, sharpen and Adjust only for ( Bashar assad's Face )
. you know !!
so it's a multiple process that one can't summarize it in ( step by step )
try to play around these plugins ,
and one way or another you will find your Own Formula

Salis, I have an idea for a new job for you! Photoshop 's trainer ! I'm joking but not completely. I think many of us would appreciate to have some trainings from you !
Cooldes, as we do not have a particular trainer, we will continue to suffer. But looking at your works I think you'll quickly reach a very high level. Be careful Salis !

Hahaha ! It could be a nice idea for his birthday ! Chili : I am not sure "old Amsterdam" is better than french cheese !!! (hihihi).
I propose that Salis tests french and dutch cheese and gives us his opinion ! But I am sure he will prefer Whiskey !

Using topaz within your compositions, does this mean multiple layers with differing shades/colours/tones please?

I got Topaz today, I find it uses a lot of memory. I found it crashed if I had too many things open so I have to limit what is open at one time,

I had a couple of pics at 50 + MB when I closed one the problem went away.

My computer has 3gb of memory. Just wondering if I am doing something wrong?

I think it will take me a month of Sundays to get to grips with it all.

Looks like you have everything you need so all I can think of is that you may need a tune up, try cleaning all the temporary internet files off your hard drive...they can really slow things down!
