Video cards for CS5

I'm contemplating the purchase of a new computer to run CS5. It comes with an "integrated ATI Radeon 3000 graphics card." I know that the Adobe Photoshop site says this card is supported. (However the site also says you only need 1 gig of RAM to run CS5, and we all know how silly that is.)

My questions are:
1)is the Radeon 3000 series truly sufficient to run basic editing in CS5?

2) Are there other cards out there that are noticeably faster than the 3000? i.e. can I do better?

Integrated graphics (built into motherboard as a graphics chipset) is not the same as a dedicated graphics card with its own memory.

Hard to say if that chipset can handle it or not. The specs indicate it should be able to handle CS5, but there's not much info on people using integrated graphics with CS4 or CS5.
