If you have Microsoft Office 2000 or higher then you can install this font. First go to Control Panel and select "Regional and Language Options." Click the "Languages" tab. Then click "Details." On the "Settings" tab, click "Add" and then choose "Russian" from the dropdown list. Click "OK" and Windows will install the Russian default fonts.

If you have MS Office, Go into "MS Office Language Settings" and add "Russian" and this will add Cyrillic character sets to all your Office programs.

Photoshop, as far as I know, does not support alternate (non-Western) character sets unless you purchase a special add-in for that language. So whenever I want to use Hebrew or Russian character set, I will open the image in Macromedia Fireworks, which supports multiple character sets, including right-to-left.

thanks alouette. I found a pretty close approximation and have gone with that. It's close apart from the A, but some tweaking sorted it. Thanks very much all f you thoug!

I don't know what font it is, but it's taken from the label of BALTIKA - one of the major beer brands in Russia. They could have designed the font especially for the label.

yeah, I'm trying to design some promotional material for work for baltika and asahi.

I'm not very good with text though, so it all looks a bit clunky. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll be sure to send half of the pint of guinness they're paying me with!

I like them BT very nice, only thing I would do with the baltika one would be to try to wrap the text around the arc of the circle...?
