This contest is fueled by the following news: You might wonder what, if anything, could Charles Lindbergh, Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe and Joseph McCarthy all have in common. In fact, they were all under the eye of the U.S. government for one reason or another. Their files are now open for viewing at the FBI website. Perhaps you never heard that Einstein had an affiliation with the Communist Party. The federal government had a file on him and you can find out more about Einstein yourself. The feds tracked singer and former Beatles leader John Lennon when they learned that he gave money to a group planning to disrupt the GOP National Convention in 1972. Again, you can see the file for yourself.
